I use to be really into wrestling until about 10 years ago. I thought the WWE belt was considered better than World Heavyweight when they merged? Why does the rumble winner get to pick, are they actually equal now?

They've tried having it where one belt is the title mainly defended on RAW and the other is defended on Smackdown. Since the rumble has wrestlers from both shows, they just get to 'pick' which one they want to go after.

Just called my local Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings. Neither has the Royal Rumble tonight. Guess I'll be using stevenash's link - won't pay Vince $50 for the PPV.

Terrible PPV to this point. A couple of matches have been inserted in that weren't advertised. Makes me wonder if the cage match had a botched ending.

No. I think its going to come out that Daniel Bryan screwed up the World title match, though. It was short, and they had to put in two "fill in" matches for the PPV. Big Show was trying to pull Bryan back into the cage from the top, and Bryan let go or slipped, falling to the floor to end the match. I think Show was supposed to show his strength and pull him back in all the way.

The "rumble" picked up decently 1/4 thru. Was actually pretty good for the most part.

The matches were all weak, I was watching them in the background.

Hacksaw and Orton probably got the biggest pops.

Ending was rather anti-climatic.
