Typical JJGold thread. He's made hundreds of these types of premature predictions.

I'm gonna wait till summer to make an asssessment, I do think that he is gonna finally have gotten enough distance from all the scrutiny, that he'll be making more noise on the links

His swing is back no doubt
He seems to have fire back too
Golf needs him bad..game just died out when he was off his game the last 2 years

I agree with JJ. Golf definitely needs Tiger. The sport is just irrelevant to anyone but hardcore fans when he's a non-factor.

Imagine the burials he could create if he happens to start dominating again. Could get ugly.......

The poster who said "Typical JJ Gold thread" is 100% correct. JJ makes a ridiculous statement and just waits for the replies to roll in...that's why SBR pays him the big bucks.

Golf needing Tiger is not the same thing as "Tiger is back and is the best player in the world again".

If/When we see Tiger win another green jacket at Augusta in April, then we can say he's back...until then, not so much...

The Masters should be telling. Tiger has played very well there the last few years despite his major slump. He is one of the best to ever play at Augusta and if he is close to being back. The field is in trouble come April

    FYI tiger never really left

Guy was playing on a bad wheel for a long time and is now totally healthy. Did you all forget that he finished fourth at the masters last year?

You know who's gone? Phil. What a stiff that asshole is.

Tiger playing better than World Number one Luke Donald this week in Abu Dubai. Woods will regain the Number one ranking this year from the clowns that can't ever win Donald and Westwood.

I hated Tiger when he was winning....but now that he isn't I find myself not following golf at all. I have to admit, I enjoyed the game intensely when he was relevant.

dj you know the world rankings are a complete joke. At least when vijay had it for a few weeks he had won a handful of real tourneys. The tourneys these guys are winning and getting full WGR points for are a joke.

Westwood will never ever be looked at as a top threat in a major.

Let's not forget that Tiger has always been the ultimate competitor. He was down for awhile, but most always knew he would roar back eventually. I expect him to have a huge year.

You might be right, but you'd get nice + money on that too. Probably like O1.5+200 at least.

I would still take the odds of no major wins for tiger over the 1.5 wins. It's not that easy when you have not done it in a while. You are what you repeatedly do according to aristotle. Tiger has repeatedly failed to win majors the last two plus years.
