Guess I will take Denver over and 49ers under. If Denver can stay healthy -- unlike this season -- they could very well win 8 games. Carolina under might be worth considering as well, not a fan of Newton and company.

Carolina D needs a lot of improvement, but what didn't you like about their offense. Newton had one of the best rookie QB performances ever in this league. And he hates to lose. I was skeptical of him coming out of Auburn, but now think he's the real deal. Thoughts?

Newton had a good rookie season, scored many TD's and so on. But let's not forget he also threw a lot of INT's and Panthers' wins were against Jacksonville, Washington, Indianapolis, Tampa Bay (2x) and Houston. So nothing overwhelming. Their rushing game wasn't impressive as well, DeAngelo was a huge disappointment.

Yeah, 8.5 might be too high considering the schedule and the D. But I do think they will be in the playoffs within 2 years .They almost beat the Saints and Falcons at home, and played GB tough for about 3Q's. Improve that D, Newton continues to develop and they will be a solid team. Think Ron Riveria will get it done.

Hard to judge these so far ahead. A lot can happen between now and then. Who will Peyton be playing for will make a difference as well . I tend to agree about under on 49ers. GB has an easy schedule but then again their total is quite high.

The bad thing about these bets is having your money tied for so long with a book while they are making interest on it.
