I've dealt with Jake and Sportbet before. They seem pretty good. I'll re-up in the future. You can get Jake on the phone easily. Unfortunately, I've never done a withdrawal.
They seem like they'd be a good out for a smaller better ( dime and under). I've been meaning to go back, but I'm happy with my present outs, I especially like Mansion, and use Pinnacle, Wagerweb, Skybook, SIA, Hollywood, and some others with them. I change books by season.

Never had any problems with them. What kinds of negatives have you heard about them?

There was some dispute at RX with Sportbet and a poster ( forgot name, but poker was a part of the name). I think it got settled to everyone's satisfaction. I'm fuzzy on the details, but it can be searched in Rx forums. I'm more concerned about present, not saying past is irrelevant, but present is more important !
I'd send them a small portion of BR ( less than 5%) and test them. John must have his reasons for his decent rating !

There are at least 50 better places to play at.

Being the 51st best sportbook in the world almost makes you an elite book ! Good enough to try, IMO !

G7,
They have been around a while and have a colorful history. I would suggest you take a glance at this page for a quick timeline of events. Let us know what comes to mind from there.
In short, 2005 has been a decent year for Sportbet. The book was rated above average for the first time in years. Almost all feedback has been positive.

I opened an account there around the time this forum started. People were talking about them and they got upgraded so I figured I'd give 'em a shot.
Here's my review:
I dunno. Limits are relatively low ($500). Lines are relatively square (although once in awhile I get surprised by a gem).
My log-in times out way too fast. I hate that.
I have found an annoying pattern of, when I enter a bet and go to confirm, I get a message saying the line has moved. The move has never been in my favor. It's happened 4 or 5 times.
Nothing about Sportbet really jumped out and grabbed me. Now that I think about it, it's probably time to pull my money out of there so I'll have to get back to you on how they handle my payout.
