John Morrison SBC - Hidding the true results
I'm new in this forum. Sorry if I post in the wrong topic.
Not long ago I subscribed to his system, and from 25th January 2009, I started following his picks. I place the bets on http://betus.com(the sports book that he advese us to open an account), and I place them exactly as his advice, always buying 3 points, at -170. I have never missed a bet also.
In the last week we lost on all three bets on Toronto Raptors. Here are the proofs:
27 February 2009: BET-A on Toronto Raptors: http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/5611/022709betaontorontorapt.jpg
01 March 2009: BET-B on Toronto Raptors: http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/1480/030109betbontorontorapt.jpg
03 March 2009: BET-C on Toronto Raptors: http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/8959/030309betcontorontorapt.jpg
Status on BET-A - LOSS: http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/3866/022709betaontorontoraptx.jpg
Status on BET-B - LOSS: http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/9383/030109betbontorontoraptj.jpg
Status on BET-C - LOSS: http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/8959/030309betcontorontorapt.jpg
-The thing I mind the most about this, is not that I lost 206$, but about his ignorance about his last BET-C, which was a LOSS for me, and for many others.
Here is part of his ignorant email sent to his subscribers:
Quote:
"And the system strikes again! Tonight shows just how incredibly
important it is to buy 3 points in our NBA wagers. Toronto pulled
away with another big [C] win tonight, and Indiana scooped up for
us the 65th straight win of the season!
We are now 65-0 in our NBA bets this season. That's 65 wins, no
losses, and 63 (!!) out of those 65 series have been won without
ever needing to make a single [C] bet!
The red-hot Houston Rockets is a perfect 10-0 in their last 10 home
games. Houston has not lost a single home game since January.
Toronto, winning only once in their last 8 road games, was as big
an underdog as anyone can ask for. But, when the system is in gear,
wonders will happen, and tonight is another glaring example of just
how rock-solid the betting strategy really is! "
|
I don't know if I should laugh or cry reading this nonsense... He don't have the guts to admit that we've lost the last big C-BET too.
I already lost a lot of money for me, on this system, and funding my account. For someone these are not a lot of money, but for me they are. I already lost 197$ on the system, and 206$ when I lost the last C-BET on Toronto Raptors.
I have read similar complaints about his system in other topics in this forum, I guess there are many more people her e who feel scammed by this guy. Besides the money we lost in the bookie, also about his lies, and fake NBA, MLB season records.
I write this, just to warn you guys which consider playing his picks, that his statistics are not true and the winning percentage is way lower than 97%, which he claims it is.
Thanks for your time reading this.

Cyril,
I agree with everything you said. I'm sorry you got screwed following this guy.
I hope you stick around. If you want to win at sports betting, start reading the handicapper's think tank and listening to other posters. There's a lot of great information here.

I'm not trying to side with this guy, nor do I approve of his system. If you were buying 3 points on the Raptors on the 3rd of March how the heck did you lose? The lowest line I saw anywhere for that game was +7.5 and the Rapts lost by 10. Did BetUS really have a line of +6.5 for that game?

Apparently yes based on his screen shot.

The Rumor is: Sign up at BetUS with J. Morrison as your referral and they are shading the lines on his system games.
Great strategy imo, he can claim a win for his 97-0 bs and he gets a % of the loses. BetUs must have cleaned up the other night.

If you bought the points you won...the system is garbage but I don't see why you're complaining about a win?

His ticket shows +9.5 after the buy. They lost by 10.

I played Toronto that night and lost...w/out the buy. They were getting 9...if you bought 3 points you got 12. Don't know what it opened at though so maybe it was 6.5.

Read durito's post about BetUS dealing dual lines. They gave this guy straight line of +6.5 knowing what JM system plays were.
Brilliant.

as someone posted back, if you sign up with john M with betus they knock another point off all the games he gives you.
they know exactly what games he is sending his clients.
ive heard another poster say on another site that, when loged out of betus they will see a certian team +7,
but as soon as they log into there account that same team will be +5 or +6, log out and it goes back up to +7,
so really you would be better off playing in another book but only buying 2 points, you wont have to lay as much,
but,
if you are going to play this system use another book, the greek, betjam, not sure what else is out there to buy 3 points

If you want to win using his numbers, do the following:
Sign up at BetUS's site using JM's code
Bet 1 unit on the OPPOSITE of what he picks *if* the spread is different from what you see at Pinnacle or Greek by a full point. There are some situations where you should buy 3 points at -170, but it would NOT be a short post.

How about not signing up at BetUS to begin with
Why would you recommend that?

@smitch124: @roasthawg:
Yes, betus.com had +6.5 line for Toronto Raptors. And when I bought 3 points for at -170, it was +9.5. You can see this in my screenshots too. Toronto lost by 10 points, so obviously we, who placed the bets at this line, we lost.
As I stated in my first post, I follow his picks exactly as his advice. Always buying 3 points.
@LT Profits: I guess I should change the sports book. I'm searching a well known bookie where I can follow this system and that accepts Moneybookers transfers. Can you recommend me some? bet365? bookmaker? pinnacle sports? 5dimes? diamond? ...or some other?

pinnacle is the best book out of these but they only allow to buy/sell up to 1 or 2 points .
Not sure about the others.

LOL.
Your point is obviously valid, but the bigger issue here is BetUS dealing dual lines.

Cyril,
I am a JM system better, but I usually bet a very small amount on A bets. Here is some advice that might help:
1. Change books from Betus to another one, or at least, open other accounts at other books, so that you have multiple books. Shop around for the best books. Look into Betjm, and see if you like this one. Some JM system users typically use Betjm as an alternative to Betus.
2. If you plan on continuing with Betus, make sure to make your bets when the line first comes out in the night before the game begins on the next day. Also, before you make the bet, check this website: http://www.scoresandodds.com for a comparison with the Betus line. The overnight Betus line is better than the later line.
Betus has this issue of showing JM system players one line before you login, and another worse line after you login. But, if you can get the line right when it first comes out the night before, then for some reason, this overnight line is much better than the morning/afternoon line.
Here is a good example:
Your screenshot shows that you bought the +6.5 (+9.5 w/3 points) line at 11:09 AM (morning). I got the line at 12:10 AM (midnight), which was better than the morning line by 2 full points. I got it at +8.5 (+11.5 w/3 points). I printed out my Betus Bet Slip on that night, and I just made a scanned copy of it. It is not a good scan, but here it is anyways: http://i44.tinypic.com/a2ufo.jpg Click on it to enlarge.
Take care,

You are totally right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While I was lucky enough to be careful about the bets and bet very low, and actually made $300, I am glad I recognized before I lost a "C" that his "dog and poney show" is a complete fabrication. He most likely gets his training from the Bernie Madoff school of marketing. He even has more "trick" that he uses to pad his stats:
Badge of Fraud #1: In baseball, the underdog gets 1.5 runs and to get those runs you have to bet much more than your bet to win your bet (e.g., betting $75 to win $45 and betting on the underdog). Sometimes, he advises you to bet on a team, which is the favorite (that gets no runs), and of course the same situation applies....you are betting much larger to get less. Now, when the underdog beats the favorite by one run (which means Morrison's pick lost), he sends you an email saying the things changed during the day and the favorite actually become the underdog to get 1.5 runs and you should have noticed that and bet on the underdog. Well, of course, you would have placed your bet on the favorite. And, to make matters worse, he never sends you an email notifying you of the change until after the game when the result went against him. Then, he counts the game as a victory, when all the customers lost. However, he consoles them into betting the next game to generate more action for his BET US sportsbook, which most likely he gets a piece of the action.
Badge of Fraud #2: He manufactures point spreads that don't exist, particularly in basketball. When you lose, of course, the point spread at the time was different for him and he won so again, he remains undefeated.
Badge of Fraud #3: When he sends the consoling email that you bet on the wrong team, he psychologically tries to make you believe that it was your mistake, not his. And, if you notice, all these emails are addressed generically rather than personally, indicating this happened to most if not everyone.
Badge of fraud #4: He tries to avoid the obvious fact that for every 10 game series you play, you have to win 9 of them just to break even.
Badge of Fraud #5: He makes it real convenient to make you believe that the listed pitchers don't play when he loses his bet. In fact, one time his picks were cancelled due to the listed pitchers not playing, but in his next day email he has the game as won, because you should have rebet with the new pitchers. But, when the same thing happens and his team lost, the bet got cancelled because of the listed pitcher problem.
In other words, he constantly manipulates the rules to make you think he is winning all the time, when in truth in fact, his system is marginal at best and correctly played, a sizeable loser for the player and a big profit for him and BET US.
