Newt Gingrich crushed his opponents in South Carolina tonight. Gingrich received 40% of the vote, compared to 27% for Mitt Romney. Rick Santorum finshed 3rd with 17%, and the joke of the GOP, Ron Paul finished where he will finish in Florida, dead last at 13%. Gingrich was very complementary in his victory speech, praising all three of the other candidates.

This is a devistating loss for Santorum, who was defeated by over 2-1 by Gingrich. It is also a huge loss for Romney, who was out polled 57-27 by the two Conservative candidates. 87% of the people saw through Ron Paul's garbage. His days in the party are now numbered. He will be politely treated, get his time at the Convention, and then be dismissed from the party.

The race is now down to Romney and Gingrich. It is time for Santorum to get out if he really believes in Conservative values. Paul's campaign is phony, and he will be the only candidate who goes to the Convention without a single Primary win. He has been totally ignored by the press, as he should be. Republicans now haver a choice. Go Conservative with Gingrich, or Moderate with Romney. The Party will go with Romney, the safest of the choices. Who the people go with remains to be seen.
