Default You're an instant Billionairre like Mark Cuban: Which team do you attempt to buy?

Say you all of the sudden become a multi-billionaire for some reason. Which professional sports team would you attempt to buy? Try to make it a team that would realistically be sold; i.e - no way the Pats would be sold right now.

My 1st choice would be the Cowboys but Jerry would never sell.

So, I think I would try to buy the Timberwolves and move them to Austin. Or I'd buy the Jaguars on the cheap and move them to San Antonio. Since both teams are fairly new, and not rooted in tradition, I would re-brand both with new names, uniforms, etc...

I wouldn't want to own a team..what's the point? So you can write big fat paychecks to a bunch of prima donna ego tripping athletes?

I'd buy the Bunny Ranch in Nevada and have the hottest whores on the planet work there..maybe buy something cool like a casino. Have fun in the locker room with all your male athletes I'll be banging whores

I'm sure getting whores wouldn't be a problem while owning a pro team. I'd sleep with them first and then pass them onto the team to boost morale.

I'd buy a failing NHL franchise in the southern states such as the Phoenix Coyotes and move them up to Quebec City or try to get the leagues approval to put another one in Ontario such as Hamilton or the greater Toronto area.

My father owns/runs a private country club right now, and I've been thinking about following in his footsteps. There's nothing like playing golf whenever you want especially on the course YOU own. It's all about the groundskeepers you hire they will determine your course and the success of the course.

My first preference would be the New York Mets but the Wilpons are just too stingy.

Los Angeles Dodgers or the Chicago Cubs would be my next choice.

Would start an MLS team in a variety of places, Austin, Texas, Albuquerque, New Mexico. A variety of other cities.
Boys, MLS is the future and there will be some dudes who start Soccer Franchises in progressive/liberal cities (cities that love good beer, want to be European, have many hipsters, art scene, music scene, etc. etc.) who will make a killing within the next 20 years. If I could buy stock in the MLS I would large. This league is going to be big. They started by catering to soccer moms and families and have seen the light and are now marketing to young 20 somethings dudes. The soccer culture is too appealing and it will just get bigger in this country.

The ultimate free agent destination in the nfl. The San Diego superchargers. Great place to live, great weather, beaches, and non la traffic. I would make them the niners of the 80's.

The Carolina Hurricanes. Hockey is really exciting live, no gangster players to deal with, and a lot of prime poon in that area.
