I've been making most of my NHL plays at Ladbrokes this season for a couple of reasons.

First off, they pay very quickly, as in instantly!

I deposit using my **** CC and request a withdrawal back to the card for payouts, the request is done online and is processed immediately. After making a Ladbrokes withdrawal my **** gets credited with the funds in about 24 - 36 hours, I check my **** balance online to verify I have been paid.

Also, when you make an NHL wager on a side and the game goes to a shootout you get a nice gift! If you win you're happy 'cause you are cashing your bet, but if you LOSE in a shootout you are given a freeplay for the amount of your losing wager, NO ROLLOVER required!!, the only stipulation is that you must bet the entire freeplay (ie a $100 freeplay cannot be used to make two $50 bets - you must make a $100 wager).

You can bet a straight bet or a parlay with your Ladbrokes freeplay but its only good for NHL hockey.

I bet a -1.5 puck line and the game went to a shootout, obviously I couldn't win the bet, but the next day my account was credited with the shootout freeplay as my selection lost the shootout.

Ahhh, **** and M/C are two very different animals with regard to payouts from sportsbooks.

There isn't a sportsbook in the world that can payout to a Canadian issued **********, ********** has some rules against it, **** doesn't have any restrictions for Canadian issued cards.

I know some banks (RBC, Scotia) may not allow gambling transactions but I use a CIBC Dividend **** and it works flawlessly.

Of the books I use, I can get payouts to my **** card at Canbet/Centrebet/Ladbrokes.

That would probably work, but you'll have to send them "verification" documents for any ************ you use.

I sent them scans of my passport/CC/utility bill and got "verified", now I can deposit/withdraw with the CIBC **** card online at ladbrokes.com

Matty, I thought it was a mistake when they gave me a freeplay for a losing -1.5 puckline bet, it wasn't a mistake, this is a great feature, 'cause once your -1.5 puckline wager loses due to overtime you can still cheer for the shootout which gives you a chance at a free bet.

Another advantage for total plays if you bet UNDER 6 and the game is tied at 3-3 and decided by shootout you get the freeplay.

Now i have no doubt this is a deal, i'm not sure it's as great a deal as it seems. I'm also not great at math so my reasoning may be flawed but here is how i see it. Somewhere between 12-13% of the games go to a shootout. Though not a certainty, you will on average win half of those games and lose the other half. So lets say you bet $100 a game for 100 games. About 6.5% of the time this will affect you. Which means you will get back $650 in FP money. On NHL hockey i'm guessing that if you scalp out the FP you may only maximize it to about 60% since LB deals 20c lines. And if you just bet the FP you will average 50% of that money back. On those same 100 games betting at a reduced juice shop like Pinnacle, or Matchbook you will gain a substantial amount of that money back just in the better lines you will get. Plus you don't have the option of betting openers. Like i said this thinking may be flawed and feel free to point it out. I guess i'd be inclined to say have LB as one of several outs but i can't see the benefit of having it as your only out or one of a very few outs.

I have bet NHL lines (early) that were noticeably better than pinnys closing line on many games, I bet openers at Ladbrokes and get good prices, not everytime of course but often enough to make Laddies a book I intend on sticking with.

My NHL plays went 3-2 and the two losers (Islanders & Sabres) lost in a shootout so I'll get my freeplays awarded tomorrow.

That turned a 3-2 day literally into a 3-0 day in pucks.
