I took 11 point tease -225. Pats and Saints. Saints line at was -3.5 -110 which I got saints +7.5...now the Pats line was -13.5 -110 but they also had hanging the Pats -15 +115

they gave me the Pats at -4 meaning they took the 11 off the 15,they did not give me the 13.5 but my bet is still charging me -225 and the +115 is not factoring in. here is copy of live chat.

well you'd be able to argue a win or loss by the number but the teasers are a flat rate per selection...i think they give you -225 on the risk amount. Not on the odds.

so you got screwed but i guess they are saying the one that is automatically displayed and has ml next to it is the main line they use to figure the new teaser spread.

Right or wrong 5dimes shades their lines to protect against certain teasers and you have to verify the real number before placing the bet... Juice on the main line isn't factored into teasers and this is standard everywhere (which is what allows them to shade their lines)...

Most of time you going to better off playing teasers somewhere else besides 5dimes...

if you get a manager on, you can cancel it- if the line has not changed since bet placement but they will probably tell you thats the only time you can do that. that is deceptive on their part and a supervisor will understand.

i actually (sometimes) like that they do this b/c i generally take dogs when i tease so this offers more value for me. im getting the dog, at say -135 or so, and my teaser is still paying as if it was -110.

they shade these teasers knowing the majority of the public takes the chalk and they try to make it go thru the key numbers -- e.g. saints will be 7 point chalk but theyll make the line saints -9.5 +140 or so that when u tease it down youll get -3.5 instead of under 3
