It's a weird situation for sure. Mansion's in a tough spot because I truly believe that all evidence of these wagers are gone. Even if they believe that bets were lost, this puts them in a situation where they have to simply take the players at their words and leave themselves open to anyone who wants to take a free shot.

You said it. They must realize there is -or was- something wrong with their software by now, but they will never admit it. No way they will open that can of worms.

Now that would be somethin' very cool

I have had a losing bet disappear but it was on Betcris and a winning bet Net loss of $200 though. this was back in the 2005 NBA playoffs. I determined they had something screwy with the "back" button. After I clicked the confirmation I clicked the back button because it takes too many clicks to get back to the screen the normal way. Both times the bets disappeared I figured out later. I learned my lesson on the "back" button the hard way

That's fine and possibly even dandy, but don't tell someone like DH that he is lying when he says he made a bet. Just say something to the effect of, "Our systems have no record of the wager in question and therefore there is little we can do for you. Can you provide us with a ticket number?"

Theoretically, if the database is applying ticket numbers to these wagers then the numbers will be gapped in the system.

I doubt most here play their casino but figured I put out a heads up that they been having problems with Video Poker on their site... Apparently, they've been putting the previously discarded cards back in the deck (which greatly increases the house advantage)... I don't want to cross post, since this is a sportsbook forum, but figured it was relevent since it shows that this isn't the only problem right now at mansion... although I've heard they started returning the lost wagers to people in this case...

if anyone is interested their a huge thread about it at Casinomeister (a good casino watchdog site) that can easily be found by searching their forum...
