Default Could offshore be using PayPal again?

    https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/we.../index-outside

Paypal said you can send funds to over 56 countries with an email address.
I wonder if offshore books will do this?

I personally wouldn't use paypal to fund my dough. There is no telling what Uncle Sam has up his sleeves.

Since ebay owns Paypal I don't think we will see it unless gaming becomes legalized. They would have too much at risk. Gambling would be responsible for a nice chunk of Paypal's profit but compared to ebay's business its not significant.

Those were the good old days! Every time you saw a line you liked you could do a quick Instant Transfer and grab it. Since the money had to clear your bank, it was really betting on credit.

When ebay were sniffing around and Paypal wanted to be taken seriously as a financial institution, they cut the ties to porn and gambling.

I dont think we will ever see this again. Paypal was great while it lasted. Even if gaming was completely legal Paypal would avoid this area I believe. Too much know your customer liability.

I think that's probably true. Even if they legalise gambling in the USA, Paypal would not want to be associated with it - just think of the conservative moral backlash.
