    2012 briefly. 1-4, then 4-3, and finish it up 4-0 to miss he playoffs. They do not even need to play next year.

    Chargers to retain Turner, Smith

    Citing “stability” and his belief that Norv Turner and A.J. Smith give the Chargers “the best chance to get back to the playoffs,” Dean Spanos announced his decision on Tuesday that both men will return to the Chargers in 2012.

    Norv Turner is the offensive coordinator version of Wade Phillips.

    If he is your head coach you will underachieve mightily. If he is ONLY your OC, then your offense will be Top 5 in production.
