UCLA/Wash st.
+13 seems like a lot for a team that slows it down alot...
I like Wash St. first half alot here
anyone on Ucla?

UCLA avg. almost 20 ppg more offence but do allow 8 ppg more on the D side. But with that being said, UCLA can explode and easily have the 13 covered by half if not more. I wouldnt touch this game

they CAN explode.... but not many do against a Defense this good.....
so I think that would be more unlikely

Archie, its not like Wast St defence is that great. 8 ppg avg difference is not much bro, if it was 18 I could see your case. A team 13-13 walking into UCLA as blow out written all over

Wash St. might have lost by more then 10... a handful of times this year...they keep it close
they might not have been beaten by 14 this year except 1 or 2 times

Can Wash st score is the question, they may limit UCLA possessions but they struggle on offense.

Chi, I have watched Wash St play once this year and have seen UCLA play 2-3 times. Wash St lost by 2 at home to UCLA, ok. LIke Tully said, defence is all fun and stuff, but you have to score also. UCLA will win by double digits guarenteed, but to me this game is a no play

I've watched Wash st. alot, and I like their game, I like their coaching, and I like them in this game....
I'm a big Ben Howland fan too... but its hard not to like wash st +13.... they rarely allow opponents to get that far from them.... its not that teams might not be that much better...
but the way they play, you only have the amount of possessions of a 25 or 30 min game... so +13 is more like +17 or +18 translated into possessions
last game, UCLA shot lights out from three point land to win.... they weren't able to drive to the hoop or score down low very well
I'll take my chances with Ucla NOT shooting 60% from 3 point land again

I'm on UCLA. Making a play on every game today, but I agree that 13 does seem like a little too many

scoring hasn't been a prob for wsu today... but their defense isn't what I expected...
still got to hold off UCLA from having a run still, lot of time left..

I had UCLA -13 and I thought they would actually pull it off early in the 2nd half when they got up 5.. but then the WSU coach called a timeout and they started their winning run.
AMAZING game had me on the edge for the last 10 minutes, talk about some crazy scrambles and clutch FT shooting.

UCLA, seems to play more up tempo, Howland said his players wanted to play this style, but I dont think they are better with the change in style. UCLA the last few years has always been about defense.
