With the first NFL game kicking off in about 7 hours, who is everyone putting their money on? After doing some analysis, Oakland is 11-4 in their last 15 preseason openers and Philly is 3-11 in their last 14 openers. Also, I'm guessing Art Shell would like to get off to a good start in Oakland so look for him to try to win this game. Based on this, I think a dime is going on Oakland. Anyone else have any thoughts on this game?
I've never been a big preseason bettor but my gut says "take the coach that is more motivated to win the game". That may be a dead tie but with 1st teamers playing one to two series, the only constant is the coaching staffs.

I have Oakland ML +137. Took it this morning before I went to work. That line moved big time. Not looking good at this moment, with the Raiders down 7-0 already.

Wow, it sure does feel good to hit the first game!! I don't think that has happened to me in a long time. I was really worried the way this game started out.
I was worried at the end. I figured I would get backdoored with all those sorry azz players in.
But Oakland backers, along with under backers had a nice night.

It's why this forum is so awesome! I went to bet Oakland +3 but the line had moved all the way to -125! So like a dumbass, I took Philly +105. What was I thinking?!?
