Default The 245530630265056'th thread about avoiding Blackjack

Obviously, Blackjack online is a bad idea. We all know this. If you're up overall playing Blackjack, you're either amazingly lucky, or you must be Alan from the Hangover.

I got lucky, I only dropped $220 on BetIslands last night. To make sure it wasn't just BetIslands that hated me, I blew through like 250 points on the SBR Casino.

I ran into 20/21 ten hands in a row on BetIslands, and either pushed or lost everyone of those. I got lucky and bought insurance both times the dealer had Blackjack. I then went on a little run myself to get back to -220, but for the most part of the night, I would stay at 18/19/20, dealer would show 13, hit and be at 20/21.

Anyways, this is just another reminder to avoid Blackjack haha. It always ends badly.

I am down about $5,000 playing online blackjack plus 33,000 points. Perfect strategy.

amazing how often dealer is popping 20 or 21, or showing ace. Even more amazing is how rarely I catch a good card when doubling down.

DD on 10 or 11, catch low card, dealer of course gets 19-21.

I've played extensively at Bodog/Bovada, DSI, and the SBR book. Also some at 5 Dimes and Heritage (Heritage is the only site I'm not down at, but I didn't play that much there).

only play live blackjack online guys.

why do you think all these books use the same software for non-live casinos:
    a)it looks the best
    b)it has the most stuff
    c)its the easiest to use
d)players lose Very often but yet it's algorithms, programming and random number generation somehow was approved by a respectable regulatory agency.

no way could a regulatory agency claim that this stuff is fair

they must be getting paid off

I challenge any regulatory agency to put in a few thousand and see how long it lasts playing non-live blackjack.

I play blackjack at 5dimes most of the day until games begin. Pretty successful. Some softwares/games are rigged but from my experience 5dimes blackjack is not. You just have to play smart to increase your chances at profit

    ^ A typical DSI session.

Note the dealer showing 4, 5, or 6 repeatedly and getting 19-21 almost every time.

If dealer is showing 10, it's an automatic face card for a 20.

Online Casino games is the fastest way to lose your bankroll...not just by playing only BJ. Play roulette in Vegas, best odds of coming out on top.

There are other games (like roulette) that theoretically should have greater house edge than blackjack, but I don't believe it.

Playing non-live blackjack has the greatest house edge as far as I'm concerned, because it is so obviously rigged.

only play live casinos- its almost impossible for them to cheat or stack the deck.

they dont know in advance how many people are gonna sit down or get dealt in so they cant arrange the deck.

all they could possibly do is know whether or not theres a lot of face cards in there then shuffle it before it gets to the end.

I totally agree. It may let you at Bodog get up a little at first but then the cards go crazy. Even when you get up a little it is with good hard playing not getting great cards. Once the dealer starts getting 21 or 20 every hand you are done.
I have never gotten the run of cards that i see online BJ get. The most BJ in a row i ever had was 2 once. That happens routinely for the dealer. And you will always be beat by dealer getting a 21 one way or another at least 4-1 every time. In your case above it was 7-0 in dealers favor which is typical. This is not a one time thing it is every time you play. That is why when people say it is random and not rigged they are full of crap. If it was not rigged eventually you should get a great run like the dealer gets all the time. Never happened in years of playing.

I also find it amusing that often when I surrender a 15 or 16 against a dealer 10, the dealer often shows the next card as a 4, 5, or 6.

Of course if I had played the hand, it would've naturally been a 10.

I noticed that yisman when you surrendered and i agree . Hels i do not get when people like you come on and say it is not rigged. There is no way that it is not after getting the cards like this over and over. My NY resolution is to stay out of casinos online this year. If i EVER cashed out a nice amount playing online BJ i would agree with you but you almost never see that anywhere. The above view from yisman is a typical session . You will not have that kind of run going your way. I have played for years and have never seen it . But it is common for the dealer. Also, when i would win a nice amount on bodiva i would go to round it off at 2000. This happened 3 times i did this. I would break 2000 and hen get disconnected . When i sign back on the dealer went on insane runs of getting 20s and 21s. Why rig it? Simple- Noone can check on them they can do whatever they want . What better way to get back the cash you win at sportsbetting.

Why do sportsbooks do anything shady when they can make money just by collecting the house edge/vig? Because they can. There are hundreds of examples of this. They get greedy and want more.

I've won 11 k the past 2 weeks from bj but lost 5k today... think they're onto me. The game lags at a point and they hit ridiculous 21's when you start winning... went on tilt lol and once I lost the 5k I asked them to disable my casino. If you're winning they wont let you be for long I guarantee.

Online poker sites were raking in millions of dollars per day. They had it so sweet. These jokers were absolutely printing money, and yet, scandal after scandal surfaced. It was never enough. Conclusion: human greed is insatiable.

All online casinos are rigged towards the house. Don't even waste your time. I tried playing roulette on this website and out of 5 consecutive times putting it on black, never once did I hit. GTFOH. What was the point bonus for again?

Is it smart to play alot of online bj? No of course not. But the fact is variance happens in any game, and like znything else, it is alot easier to remember that lucky hit the dealer had then the one you had. Also bj is a game of patience and timing. Its betting small when things are cold and pressing when its hot. Its very easy to chase money on a cold sreak and then the suck outs are really easy to remember. I personally have had plenty ups and downs playing bj but you just have to be ready for some lucky draws.

Recap: dont play bj online if your just going to complain about it being rigged

OK< this one takes the cake.

Lost over $400 very quickly at Bovada.

How? Dealer kept giving me 11 vs. dealer weak card. Over 10 times I doubled down, and EVERY TIME I lost.

    I took screenshots.

Anyone familiar with probabilities would have to agree that this is very fishy.

It also occurred after I increased my bet size to $25 a hand. Didn't go on the rigged streak until I increased bet size.

Agree with all this patience, bet small amounts.....except....pressing when it's hot seems to rarely work

You shouldn't be playing these games unless you're clearing a bonus. You know that Yisman. I don't know whether it's rigged or not and unless you compiled a meaningful sample size to test it's speculation. Variance can sometimes be sickening. I'm going through probably the worst downswing I've ever experienced at poker but it's still "standard". If you play around with one of the variance calculators some of the scenarios are sickening. You can go massive periods of time losing while you could still be a +EV player. Of course by the time law of large numbers kicked in you may have lost your mind in the process.

wait until I post some screenshots. Look at those screenshots and tell me how it's standard.

Online casinos are super duper fishy, I've tried my best to avoid them after several bad degen sessions. For that matter, playing blackjack in a real casino can be just as bad... I have gotten so f'd at blackjack whether live or online, I really think it would be in best interest to quit it cold turkey.

looks like there is a 21 living with the dealer, its not much better in Vegas the dealer doesn't care he's spending the houses money.
