I watched a couple regional games and these pitchers are throwing in the 80's with movement on the ball and the other team is hitting it.It used to be where the Asian kids would win all the time even though they were smaller kids because they were more disciplined and coordinated but that's not the case anymore.I didn't see alot of mental errors and I saw heads up baseball where the kids had their heads in the game.Gone are the days when these teams had 2 or 3 runts that the others had to carry the load for. Then every team had a huge overweight kid that was the Babe Ruth of the team. You still get the bigger kid or two on each team that shaves at 12 and won't get carded buying booze but they aren't just lumps with power like they used to be.

I was watching it yesterday and today since it was the only baseball that ESPN was showing. I tell you, those kids strike out a lot - they swing at anything.

your right about that one taco. those kids will swing at anything, and they usually swing for the fences when they do.

If you bet on little kids like this I would check into a local GA meeting.

I think this thread should be deleted immediately

come on coach... you know there's a lot of value in some of those lines. I'm surprised that pro like yourself don't take advantage of such an opportunity.

Danny I cannot bet on kids, I have placed wagers for kids around 12 years old but they were betting the pro bases and foots.

    Big difference

First, welcome back... I been a semi-lurker here for a long time but, believe it or not, even though I'm not regular poster there was once when people were talking about good old days, what is now know as "the JJGold Golden era," I almost cried thinking about how inactive I was here then... Anyhow, it is great to see that I might now get a second opportunity to make up for my SBR youthful errors!

Anyhow, to your post, I'm assuming, coach, that you're implying that you feel slight qualms about paying off the kids for a little pocket change but, obviously, see nothing wrong with putting some jingle in the pockets of children from the exploits of a bought off professional... Is this correct?

Good luck, coach, and I'm here to learn

Just remember they are still kids. You didn't expect a team of junior Pujols' did you?

Herbie let me give you an example, the other night a few kids knocked on my door and wanted to play a NY reverse for 10x. The kids were 13 and 14, it is a big difference because they were betting on adults. I would not of put bet in if it was for a little league game as I have morals.

If you boys want to bet little league that is your choice but I would look in the mirror first.

They're striking out like a team of Ryan Howards, though. And they're making the pitchers look like a team of Santanas.

And yes, if it's the only baseball which EPSN can be arsed to show at the time then I expect pretty high standards.
