I didn't see this mentioned anywhere so I thougtht I'd mention it. Some new verbiage appears to have been added in many of the books TOC.
Specifically in sportingbet.com it says the don't have a license to take wagers over the phone. In others it just says they don't take phone wagers. I was surprised by this last night when I tried to make a wager over the phone so I tried to find out for sure online. |

Wow, this is very surprising. I have made hundreds of wagers over the phone with www.sportsbook.com in the past. I just tried to call them to try and make a wager and you are correct, they are not taking phone in wagers any longer.

This sounds like fallout from the BoS CEO arrest and fear of the dreaded Wire Act more than anything else.

I believe alot of books will probably be doing this in the near future, especially for their American clients just to get around the Wire Act. It would seem to me that getting rid of phone service would also save them alot of money due to needing less workers.
