    Default Party Gaming acquires Gamebookers

PartyGaming Plc acquires Gamebookers (SBR rating C+) PartyGaming.com: PartyGaming, the world’s leading online gaming company, announces today that it has acquired the business and assets of Gamebookers, an online sports betting business, from Trident Gaming PLC (“Trident”) for an estimated net cash consideration of €102 million (after estimated working capital adjustments of €3.0 million).

I was hoping this might mean a change in philosophy toward US customers. Upon reading the press release on Partygaming.com it appears they do not plan to let US customers back into the sportsbook.

    THAT SUCKS!

I was only with them for a year before they cutoff US customers and they had some great lines and offerings.

I am surprised they even went through with it given the climate. I know they aren't taking US customers now, but Gamebookers did in the past and might give US goverment a hook to go after them. I know that is reaching a bit, but in the current climate who knows.

Yes, Gameookers sent a broadcast today.
Gamebookers were purely recreational. I hope they move more towards pro book after this acquisition.

Everyone has to remember that BOS chose to close. BOS had a Skeleton in its closet. Once that file was opened the stock was was diving south.
