Default Anyone thought about becoming a pseudo non US citizen?

Think its possible, and if so how would you do it? It might be worth looking into if we want to continue wagering with the European books and using Neteller.com.

Maybe I am too stupid, but why You - US citizens - do not make an offshore banking account somwhere in Carribean area? You will get cards I am sure and you will be able to use Neteller, Moneybookers, everything. Costs are 1 day spent on journey and about 500 USD I guess + bonus free: diving at nice sea.
I am sure that banks there will not inform big brother.

I tried to "become a Canadian" (Canadian address, phone, and a offshore bank account) once so I could play at soccer focused books that wouldn't take US customers. I found that it was more hassle than it was worth. Playing in almost every European book was a joke as they cut limits very quickly, and in Asia, a lot of the books have very few US customers, but will take us. Pointbet and SBOBet being examples.

If I had the means I think I'd try a bit of what Lex Luthor was up to in the most recent Superman movie. Once my new land mass had completely swamped the continental USA, you could come and live on my nice big island without government constantly interfering and dictating what you ought and ought not to be doing.

jj The Empire of Atlantium is a unique parallel sovereign state based in Sydney, Australia.

Atlantium recognises that the days of nation-states founded on fixed geographical locations or majority ethnic identities are numbered, as global mobility, cultural evolution, and the growth of electronic communication networks render the assumptions that underlie and provide justification for their existence increasingly obsolete.

In an age where people increasingly are unified by common interests and purposes across - rather than within - traditional national boundaries Atlantium offers an alternative to the discriminatory historic practice of assigning nationality to individuals on the basis of accidents of birth or circumstance.

Atlantium has a heritage that spans three decades. What began as a local political statement by three Sydney teenagers on 3rd Decimus, 10500 (27th November, 1981) has since evolved into the world's foremost non-territorial global sovereignty movement and state entity, with a diverse, rapidly growing population living in some ninety countries.

Atlantium is predicated on a belief in the inevitability and the desirability of eventual global social, economic and political union, and it operates as a secular, pluralistic, liberal, social democratic republican monarchy. We encourage the active participation of Citizens in the public life of the Empire, and invite anyone with the desire and motivation to forge their own destiny as a true citizen of the world to consider joining us.

George II

You don't even have to go to the location at which you're opening an account.

Default Offshore bank account

Has anyone opened an offshore bank account? I think this might be the best way to get around the US Government laws. Please advise if you know a trustworthy bank offshore.

thanks
