Actually, my opinion on this is that it's equally easy. The major difference is that it's cheaper to get laid by a guy. There's absolutely zero expectation for one guy to take another guy out and spend some money in exchange for sex. I think it's pretty easy to get laid by a chick if you've got game, but I have yet to meet one that has told me, "I don't want a fancy dinner, let's just screw and go our seperate ways."

Thus, it requires less less time and money to sleep with a guy, but with the majority of American women being total sluts these days, I don't think straight guys have ever had it easier taking a woman to bed.
