These forum pimping threads are getting ridiculous. ALL forums are exactly the same. Most of them have the same 10-20 idiota posting on them under different names, so whatever you read at SBR youre going to see at EOG, or Peeps, or the RX or Majorawager or some of the other back alley forums around.
So if this place closed up shop everyone would have someplace else to go. Forums arent anything like they used to be.
all the real characters are dead or in jail or stopped posting along time ago. The new age characters are bad reproductions and facsimiles of legendary guys.
Was a time when you could get legit info on forums, and some actual first hand knowledge. Now it is wannabes and pretenders and never were trying to sell themselves as something they arent never were or never have a hope of being.
The fact that places rotate moderators (who keep the same make believe handle for recognition) shows how meaningless the place itself really is and theyre relying on name recognition of someone to maybe get a few more clicks.
back when Shrink and Russ were threatening to kill each other or burn each others houses down, THAT was real. That was GOOD entertainment, and it meant something because theyre were (at the time) 'legitimate' guys in the offshore sportsbook world, and could make or break new books trying to scam people out of money. Now you have guys that dont know shit trying to be an authority on the offshore. or making prank phonecalls and taping it as some sort of player advocate stance.
Not a single posting board forum is worth shit today compared to what they once were.
other than giving a place for degenerates to come and blog and gossip or post naked pictures of women they googled all day.
The next time I see anything actually helpful on a forum board will be the first time in a long tie, so long I cant even remember.
