I do have a set of variables I work with and if those variables line up and give me indicators I do a projection. I am not really a numbers guy though, I also watch a lot of games, and use line movement as well.
Dayton is a rough place to have your first true road test, and I LOVE the fact that the number swung as far as it did without much public backing.

Yeah I did sweat both NBA games yesterday, but winners are winners that's all that counts. Would much rather have some easy victories no doubt.

Not sure on the late game, lean NC State but it might be a no play
But FYI my college basketball picks have been much better than the football ones
