Can you expand on this? What advertising, and where?

Sorry to ask the obvious but ... any thoughts on what this means for the chances of BoS re-opening? Presumably, it's bad news?

I don't think it can be considered good news. We know of some print ads where BOS was told its too late to cancel. We are told they re did their creative. My guess is they took out their phone number and added disclaimers. Some of these are in print right now so we will let you know by the weekend what their new ads look like.

Sounds like they are trying to reel in whatever cash they can.

It could work either way.

They might have cancelled their advertising to try and appease the courts, and get the restraining order against them lifted.

Or, because they've conceded that there isn't much chance of them re-opening and so any advertising is a waste of money.

Can only hope it's the former.

As I said when this story broke, who in the US would be crazy enough to take ads or work with BOS at this point. It still might be a gray area on some ads, but working with BOS at this point is not a gray area.

If you get the $ up front why wouldn't you take the business. Assuming you have a prior history with them, you can't really take a PR hit anymore than you already have.
