Default If You Don't Think Tony Romo is a Top 3 NFL QB.......

....then you simply don't know much about football.

Argument could easily be made (and probably won) that he is #2 behind Aaron Rodgers. I'll put Brady, Brees and Roethlisberger in this argument, but I think Romo has actually outplayed them at the position this year.

I know all about the interceptions earlier in the year. Horrible mistakes at the worst possible time. But even in those games he was spectacular to that point. Against Detroit.....he simply had the misfortune of 2 picks being returned for td's. If the defender had been tackled like they should have.....we're not even discussing it.

Guy is the sole reason the Boys are in 1st place in NFC East. Has had to do all this with a ragtag receiving corp due to injuries to Miles Austin and Bryant earlier in year.

Romo has arm strength to make every throw. Excellent at avoiding sacks. Does it all. When he's on....he's as good as there is right now.

No doubt in my mind he has the skills to win a Super Bowl. Won't be surprised if it happens this year.

    Bash away, you fukks......

But I don't think he is in Romo's category this year. Accuracy is a huge advantage Romo, especially on deep balls.

    And he's much goofier looking.

Hate to say it, but Cutler should also be mentioned for top 5. I see Bears being a silent assassin this year. He has played relatively good.

opie you are being an outrageous homer, Romo is maybe the 8th or 9th best QB in the league.

Uhhhhh....might want to rethink this position after his injury.

Like Eli....I shockingly agree Cutler kicks ass. Unbelievable arm.

But he's out now, so he doesn't count.

Opie...you seem like a genuine good guy and one of the better posters here at sbr. I want to be the first to say we don't want to see you leave anytime soon. However after reading this post i am very concerned about your state of mind as the drugs seem to have take over. Romo is a pretty good when it doesn't matter qb. This type just doesn't get the job done in the playoffs let alone the superbowl.

Seriously, you should be banned from commenting on football how can you even compare Romo to the likes of Brady?

Brady has 14 playoff wins and 3 Championships, a 16-0 regular season and consistant performances for 10 years.

With the talent he has you'd think the Cowboys would have a much better record.

Tony Romo is too inconsistent but when he's on and playing at his full potential he's one of the best.

He's top 4 ATM behind Rodgers, Brady and Brees.
