how about Houston being favored against ATL already??? It's very conceivable that we could have a wildcard world series again with BOS vs. Houston.

I like either Boston, CWS, Houston, or STL. Not really sold on the Yankees' bullpen yet.

Hm. I didn't expect anyone to agree with me. I hardly hear anyone picking the Angels in the media and what-have-you. They barely even get mentioned.

We have an astute group here!

White Sox shake up the world and win the WS. White Sox won 99 games winning their last 5 and still get no respect.

I think it is a toss up across the board. Since I am a baseball nut everyone's been asking what I thought and at least in the AL I think it is a toss up. StL is really the cream of the crop again for the NL.

But, who wouldn't want to see a WS Game 7 at Fenway matchup between Clemens and Schilling? That would be da bomb!

I'm sure not going to be the guy who says Atlanta.

I wouldn't bet on it but I'll say St. Louis. But they could have the same problem as last year where there pitching is more balanced than spectacular. In the playoffs, it is more important to have 2 or 3 great guys than balance.

But every team has holes. I'll say the Cards.

Hello!

Many teams have good starters, such as Sox, Cards, CHW, and Yanks....Sox will have great problems with their relievers. Yanks have good relievers, but their batters are not playing as good as last year.

Cards have good bats, and good relievers, but one of their most important relievers /just look at the last games, how many times did he "save the day"/ is out for the playoffs (Al Reyes) which can cost them a lot....before his injury, I'd take Cards, but suprisingly......

My bet is on CHW now......

Not much love for the Cardinals. There is no way Houston gets by St. Louis.

Cards starting pitching down the stretch was beatable, bullpen is a grey area. Sure, they can score, but if you cut down to a 4 or even a 3 man rotation for a seven game series, the 'Stros are a VERY dangerous team. Houston's the only team in the NL that can/will beat St Louis

6 looks good to me. WSox are streaky and they are hot now. Big edge to WSox SP.

You got that right but the Angels need to put it behind them and move on.
