    Default OT: Moon anniversary +37

July 20th...37 years now since Armstrong planted his foot upon Earth's nearest orb. Obviously OT, yet earlier today I came across this bet at Intertops:

"Which Nation will land on the Moon next?"
    China -143
    USA +100

To be paid out in 5 1/2 years...Wow.

Wow. 5 1/2 years. Who here is willing to have their money tied up for that long? I know if I did, I would forget about it by year 2.

I know I would forget also. I think somebody betting this would be better off placing their money in a certificate of deposit.

No kidding...Intertops is a riot. Here are some other wagers they offer, to be paid out on New Year's Eve, 2020! I guess they get action on these, but I'd be amazed that people would tie up their cash for 13 1/2 years, but hey, there's somethin' for everybody I guess...

"Will a human land on Mars before December 31, 2020?"
    NO -500
    YES +300

"Will George Bush (W) be the 1st human on Mars?"
    YES +90000

    "What will happen first?"
    Humans on Mars -2000
    Aliens on Earth +1400

Plus some crazy White House prop.

And I'm sure even the idea of this wager must upset some 'Skins fans:

    "What will happen first?"
RedSkins win the Super Bowl -3333
    Humans land on Mars +900

At least they showed some respect and gave Washington a favorable number (Bet closes in a month and a half).

Thoses are some very strange props. Most of them we will probably never see in our life time. Mainly that Redskins Superbowl win one.

I might put down $10 or so on the Red Planet just to piss off one of my buddies, whose priorities in life are 1) Red Skins 2)Oxygen

I'm a bit short at the moment - any chance of you guys giving me a 5 1/2 year loan?

Wow! Thirty-seven years, huh? Makes me feel old, which I am. But I guess something never change. When Armstrong was first stepping onto the moon's surface, I was just a teenager with hopes of one day getting into this one particular young lady's pants. Now, 37 years later, I'm married to that gal and still hopeful of getting into her pants

Those are indeed some crazy ass props
