Yeah i am excited too...other forums have way too much nonesense on it. A serious dicussion can turn bad into a joke in a matter of a few posts. Let's keep it serious here and try to help each other as much as possible. I plan on using this forum to get as much info as possible on strategies, methods, money management, line shopping, etc...

I don't want to pretend to be a tout like on other gambling forums.

Bear I agree, I am even keeping my posting to more of a gambling tone here with of course some humour mixed in.

When you see lots of Gambling/Books threads it just makes you post more serious

I like newbies too and try to help them pick good books

That's one of the things that I did dislike about other forums. You ask an honest question and then it becomes a contest to see can come up with the best joke to degrade you. Then you are either called a ghost or idiot if you are new. Reminds me of being 8 years old again.

Of course nonsense is going to occur when you have a heavy number of people that have a ton of spare time all day to sit at the computer. They can't just talk about sportsbooks and lines all day.
