And "0" is the number of rings they earned in the year 2009.

Lakers will choke at the end of the year, Cavs won't be able to ride Lebron against determined, well stocked contenders.

Boston wins it all this year. Don't be fooled by their recent skid.

After watching today's Laker/Magic game there's no doubt that the Magic are the best right now, imho.

Oklahoma City will win it all. Take the prop bet now. 1 million to 1 or something like that.

I agree with Lebron probably choking but I disagree with Boston winning it all again. If they don't add a veteran player to their bench, they will not even advance to the Finals. Their bench might knows their roles but do you really expect their team as it is now is good enough to bring home a second banner?

Whatever team the NBA stripted at the beginning of the year will win, this league is a joke and is fake as hell. Half the time teams don't even care about winning or show up for games, don't have to go far to see that as we all got to see it last night on ESPN with the Hornets. I don't even know why they played that game other than to justify getting paid millions of dollars.

Def have to go with Orlando right now. Cleveland 2nd.....And Boston 3rd.
Yeah it's crazy that the EAST IS BACK baby!! Love it! Although my fav team the Detroit Pistons aren't even close to the best in the East.....It's just been so many years of the West having all the top teams. Nice to see that changing.

it is surprising that between "the big 4", lakers got the lowest vote so far...

isn't lakers supposed to be the most overrated team in nba ?

The best team CURRENTLY is Orlando. The best team in the NBA is still, however, the Boston Celtics.

If we factor talent level into it, OKC are the best team. They're overachieving by their talent level.
Detroit shouldn't even be in that list in the first place.

    I'd rank the teams:

    1)Orlando
    2)LA Lakers
    3)Cleveland
    4)Boston
    5)San Antonio

The East is stronger at the top but is much weaker after the top teams.

Sorry fellas, but Orlando is NOT FOR REAL. They cannot beat the best in the East (Cavs, Celts, Pistons). With exactly the same team the Magic have been stomped by the Pistons in the playoffs for years.

Orlando will be lucky to make it out of the first round -- let alone win an effing championship!

Only teams even capable of winning the championship are: Celts, Cavs, Pistons?, Lakers, Hornets, Spurs. Going to come down to two of those six in the finals. Magic have zero defense and zero depth. Denver aint doing anything either -- Chauncey is extremely overrated, Melo has no defense, team has no depth, and there are ongoing injury/off court problems (Nene, KMart, JR Smith -- who killed his best friend last year and got away with it).

So, to answer the poll question -- given the Celts have fallen off, I vote Cavs or Lakers. Right now I give Cavs upper hand, sadly.

Re-reading the posts in this thread...I'm still amazed by the amount of Orlando homers. Just wow.
