First off, Welcome to the SBR forum

Unfortunately Worldbet is probably one of the worst books out there nowadays. Hopefully JoshW can make some headway with them and can retrieve your funds, however it's not going to be an easy task based on their history, sir.

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum

I doubt we can really help at all, but it's a possibility. You are more than welcome to fill out a complaint form and we will try to contact Worldbet on your behalf and inquire about your situation sir.

I did find that worldbet are owned by a company called findirect ltd. based in london. Would it be worthwhile sending a letter to them to request my payment. Am i able to report this as a fraudulant transaction to my bank and at least get my intial deposit back.

Unfortunately, SBR receives many worldbet complaints depsite their F rating, and players owed by Worldbet continue to not get paid and worldbet does not respond to my attempts to contact them. Truely a scam book.

Those types of requests are pretty much standard when withdrawing your funds, although I feel the Passport is a bit over the top. I personally don't think it will matter what you send them because it's probably just another stall tactic on their part IMO, sir.

My withdrawal request status has changed to executed along with ref number. Is this good news or have other people got to this stage and still not recieved anything? I hope the funds are on there way. Could really do with the cash at min. LOL

I'm actually stunned that you received your funds from this jip joint. That's the second recorded payout I've seen in roughly 13 months from Worldbet.

it is not that much money so they are probably hoping you will deposit again and maybe some of your friends.

I also can add, that a friend of mine received a payout in December - after abt. 30 days. (a little more than 150 EUR)

But this is a rare example, as I know bettors who are waiting for their money for months.

My thought is, that WB SOMETIMES processes SMALLER withdrawals, to maintain the illusion that they are a paying bookmaker, and to lure other unfortunate and unexperienced bettors.

My only advice is, if you want to make a withdrawal from worldbet, first: start praying, cause only a miracle could help you getting your money. second: try to withdraw the money in smaller ammounts, and send them emails every day, and after a while, start writing them that you are going to turn to all major betting forums, media etc...count this money as a lost one, and maybe you will have a nice suprise if they pay you out....which is not very probable.

Hi everyone.

I made a withdrawal of 508 euros at worldbet, on 24 January. I know, it's only 17 days, but it's disgussing anyway. I heard about how trustless they are, but I still had some trust in them, because I played at them in 2007, and I got my money all the time in 3-4 days, but the biggest sum was 80 euros.
I am writeing e-mails every day, of course getting no response. I still hope I will get my money once, I don't know when, maybe today, maybe 6 months later. Anyway, it's true that they are criminals.

New payout report!!! They gave my 300 euros (out of 1000). Actually I had split the 1000 euros amount to 10 withdrawal requests of 100 euros each and they placed the first 3. I followed your instructions of everyday mails. The good thing is that moneybookers get the money from the Findirect ltd company. Lets hope I will get the rest of the amount.

I am glad to hear that, I hope you will get the rest of your money. For my part, I still didn't get any money, or any response from them, but I am also writing them mails every day.
Maybe this ~split thing~ is really usefull, unfortunately I requested a withdrawal with all of my money. Lets hope we all will get our money

Geomed, how long you have been waiting for this money?

the number

If the number 'whois' is incorrect is it any internet organisation slling domain I can contact to update their details about guy who has registered domain worldbet.com?

Good luck to anyone still in there. Their site is actually down right now for "maintenance". Funny.

The one thing I can't undertand is why companies like ****/Moneybookers/whatever still allow people to send them money? These people are obviously scammers, so isn't there anything we could say to the companies that allow you to send them money??

they owe me nearly £7000 ive been trying to arb it away with them but all that happens is i keep winning on the worldbet bets i make and my balance there keeps rising money which i will never see a penny because they dont process withdrawels .
Ill have to stop this approach now and just let them keep all the money as they do with everyone else also .

I hope nobody tries to do what jasont50 has done. I can very much understand the desperation, but I would say it is better to focus on regular betting and trying to pick a winner rather than focusing on finding a team that you think will lose -- and with odds that are compatible for arbitrage.

Arbing out money from a scam office is a very very bad idea, and I often read this from scammed users...come on people, think a little before doing it!!!!

Arbing out from Worldbet is simply equal as placing bets with low odds at another bookmaker.....you are risking real money for play money!!!!!!
If you win at Worldbet, that is 99% the same as you win monopoly-money.....you cannot cash it out, it's just a number on a website, nothing more....please think, and don't even think arbing out money from a scam office....

I am very sorry for you, to me it happened with Bwin, they stole over 700eur from my winning bets placed on 30 sport games.
All such books who have this kind of scam, doesn't matter how big they lie they are, they are still a scam and must be placed on BLACKLIST. What else SBR can do if they don't respond?
Hire a lawyer and go the normal way, they will pay you all they owe you and on top for a scam.
But I don't understand, how offshore governments give such known for fraud books a license? It looks like it is only called a piracy license but in reality this are bribes paid to officials in return for green light to scam players. Worlbet scam sucks.

Jason, please please don't try and arb/match out your funds at Worldbet. The last thing you want is to lose more funds into there. Bookies offer odds because nothing is certain - favourites lose, longshots win. From your previous thread, I think the best suggestion I saw was to try asking for a very small withdrawal as - apparently - they have paid out on those in the past. I have funds at another sportsbook that I think is going to fold; it's painful but I've written it off, and it will be a bonus if I ever see them.

BWIN, stop spamming and let IBAS and Justin do their work on your own case. Your case with Bwin, no matter how legitimate, is nothing like these people's with Worldbet, who are an out-and-out scam. BWin are subject to IBAS and regulatory authorities, and in the past have always been reasonable whenever SBR mediates with them. BWin lacks customer services skills. Worldbet just steal, and some have lost thousands there. Not the same thing at all.

Thanks. This is short update on my case, GRA Gambling Commission wanted me prove identity and ************. Look what I did:
I provided my internet banking login to them! They checked it and confirmed my identity.
Then they got e-mail from my banker who proved ************ belong to me. Then was silence, I don't know the reason but now all can see that Bwin's accusation were completely groundless. How could they do it? Steal money and then try to scare me with their lawyer that I am not who I am and my cards are not mine. Never thought 736eur would break them. But it is not only me that they don't pay, so the amounts are in millions $$$. What the other explanation?
To allow deposits, accept 30 sport bets through the week, then upon funds withdrawal request both to CC and my bank account - to close account for "security reason".
