Default Time to withdraw from WagerWeb

WagerWeb now back to offering one free payout per month up to $40...

Max limit is still only $1000 for neteller.

Did their old policy help or hurt this book?
I would say it hurt them

Instead of sending them 3K I learned to sned them 1K then if I lost one more K and ....

if they want to rape the players I made a decision to help neteller rape them and help neteller get richer

    I hate books like this

I confess I don't know exactly what you mean by those bits.

My general comments as a guy who uses Neteller would be these:

Their withdrawals are cumbersome and relatively expensive if you are dealing in larger dollar amounts. They have a $1000 per day limit so if you wanted to pull out 15k, you would literally have to work at it for 3 weeks (since they only process payouts Mon-Fri.)

Furthermore, each of the 15 withdrawals would cost $20 for a total fee of $300.

It's not a life-or-death issue but it just seems weak to me.

On a little rambling aside: I once wanted to pull a 5 digit amount out of there so I phoned them to see if arrangements could be made for a quicker way than $1000/day. I said, "I'll still pay the 2% fee but is there any way I can do it all in one shot?"

The CS person said, "Oh we don't charge a 2% fee."

    I said, "You charge 20 bucks on a thousand. That's 2%."

They said, "No, we charge a flat charge of $20 on all payouts. It's not a percentage."

I said, "Well okay, I stand corrected. If someone takes a payout of less than the maximum, the $20 is more than 2%. So you charge a MINIMUM of 2% on Neteller payouts."

"Oh no, it's not a percentage."

"Well . . . yes it is, you know, actually."

"No, but it's just a flat fee."

'Look," I said, "I didn't call to argue semantics. It's all going to amount to the same thing and I'm willing to accept the charges. However you really do charge a minimum of 2% for your Neteller payouts. That's just a mathematical fact."

"Oh no, it's not a percentage."

A good book shouldn't mind a winner, they should give a winner at least one free payout per month.

They have a lot of perks and bonuses. Something has to give when you have a lot of expensive bonuses. I never liked the way some books would make it very hard to withdraw and expensive as a way to discourage withdrawls. But, as long as its in their rules then ok. Buyer beware.

If you were a sportsbook owner wouldnt you make verything as easy as possible and not give bonuses and then take it back on the way out?? I agree about the rules. Players have to figure out whats best for them.

I get 20% bonus on the way in ( deposits) so 2% on the way out is something I can live with.

I've played there for many years. They've always paid promptly. To this day I still get a free half-point sides and totals, even with NFL 7.

Show me any complaints about payments. They can be a bit backward on some things, don't like props. They do PAY well.

Thanks Doug. I was really just curious. I would gladly pay 2% to always have the halves. The system seems set up to bring in wiseguys who know what they are doing. Most of my gambling friends would be pissed once they won though.

Perks at WW?! 20% bonus right, but with 10 time rollover. Is the free half point still good for new signups? I remeber it being taken off for many...

They have a loyalty bonus that seems to jump between 0.5% and 1% of action played. Right now I'm getting 1%. That's pretty good. I usually get at least a hundred bucks from that every Monday.

I wasn't really complaining about the payout fees. I just found the conversation I had with CS about it weird. They were so determined to put some kind of spin on the fact that it amounts to a 2% charge that it was absurd.

I thought I was talking to Karl Rove.

But WagerWeb has had (and continues to have) some very good dog lines on MLB this year. They have definitely been in my top 5 books for bases this season.

Not valid for new guys, I don't care about roll-over, I get volume with my free half.

A good way to keep getting the bonus is to play both sides of baseball games. Bet dog at WW, take back fav at Pinnacle.

Lose at WW ( they're happy) win at Pinny, withdraw from Pinny, send $$$ to WW for bonus.

I heard of a few withdrawl problems at Wagerweb awhile ago. It wasn't that they were trying to rip anyone off. They just made a few mistakes.

I kinda see what you're trying to get at there.

The only problem is that (in my experience) you are a lot more likely to win long-term betting dogs than laying chalk on favorites. If I wanted to follow that general thinking and lose at WW and win at Pinny, I think I'd want to play lop-sided favorites at WW and take back the dogs at Pinny.

With limits it's easier to play dog at WW, and fav at Pinny ( or Mansion). Even if dogs win better than favs, +150 dogs still lose more than 50% of the time. You should be able to direct your money there. If you fail, oh well, pay the 2%, and wait until bonuses are offered again in the future.

Here is what I don't like. No book should expect their players to keep checking thier rules for updates. If thier is a major update, and I consider going from free neteller withdrawals to charging $20 for a 1k withdrawal a major change, web should send out an email informing their players. ANd they should give the players enough notice so that thier players can withdraw prior to the change. Also, why shouldn't aplayer beable to call and say hey, I wnat to withdraw 5k, instead of 1k a day for the next 5 days, can you send me 5k 5 days from now, and just charge me $20.

I guess I'll be withdrawing by wire, if I don't lose beofre my roll is up.

If you are eligible for even the .5%, that is one of the best deals going.

    Marc,
In my experience WW has been willing to grandfather players at the old terms. Switching the TOS w/o warning is a legit complaint.
