yes me too, my aunt about 15 years ago had hers up in april or may. She said she forgot it was still up until she drove by the house on the other side one day.

JJ is a little barreled in, as you can probably tell by the thickness of the tree he picked out that was heavily discounted:

Took ours down Dec 26 and it has already been reduced to ashes. But we do leave some of those little white lights up year around on an Oak tree that comes up through our front deck. I don't think of them as Christmas lights, but rather as landing lights for when I'm walking home through the woods late at night after drinking our homemade brew at the bro-in-law's doghouse.

I actually love the tree and her cat does too so I said why worry. Leave that thing up all year. I would if my call. It is a nice decoration. I like to get it up around Halloween and time does fly by.

I told the wife lets just leave it up. It is just me, her, and the beautiful daughter. I can live with it, plus my daughter still loves to turn on the lights.

Nice. We still have the tree up and all of our indoor and outdoor lights up. We still turn them on every night.
