Congrats go out to Team Cosa Nostra! They are the last team standing out of a starting field that saw 24 4-man teams sign up for the month long free for all held at SBR forum. The winning team which was comprised of posters Nicky Santoro, onthewhat, Deuce, and TSoprano relinquished the lead only once throughout the month, and from then on out simply blew away the rest of the field.

It is hard to come up with any other adjectives to describe the all out romp that Team Cosa Nostra administered. We saw a masterful contest performance out of SBR poster Nicky Santoro, who absolutely tortured and blew away the field making 510 picks and netting +52 units by himself. These articles usually contain lots of jubilation and excitement, but I honestly have never seen a more masterful contest performance by one poster ever.

Nicky Santoro's performance in this contest was like Peyton Manning surgically working through a defense, and while his teammates struggled early on, all the other teams saw of Nicky Santoro was his tail as he galloped to the finish line with his teammates on his back as he sealed the deal and delivered on his smack-talk.

Congrats to all teams for playing, thanks for your feedback, and congrats again to Team Cosa Nostra led by Captain Nicky Santoro!

it was a total team effort.. tony did his job. onner was great with the updating my games 12 secs after it was final. he did my spreadsheet and i always knew where i stood and everyone else. he really did a good job and put alot of effort into it..

on the other hand, deucer didn't take this seriously at all. he almost killed us (no offence deuce)..i always told him to make sure to wait for my plays so he don't take my plays.. and 3 times, as i'm putting in my plays, I find out deuce just played 4 games and 3 of them were opposite of mine.. he'd always go against the sharp side. so many times i'd go un 199 in NBA and real line is now 195, and then i see deuce's pick at ov 199.. or i'd say to deuce to make sure to leave the NCAA for me ,and then i'd see him with 3 ncaa picks.. (its ok deuce, i forgive you now)

but it was a total team effort by the team. good job boys.

If pucks were in the mix we would have been +70 units.
