Default AL game is text book game of motivated vs non

1 team just blew a late shot at national championship and disappointed vs team having something to prove against the big bad wolf. Clear mental edge is with Utah even though Al has far superior talent.

It is still early but will be hard for Al to cover 10. Although I still think they can win this late.

just something to think about

O-line didn't protect Wilson. 7 sacks I believe. Wonder what the left tackle did to get suspended...turned out to be big.

embarassing no doubt, maybe Florida line will shift toward OKl now. I still like Florida. It is obvious losing a shot at the title killed AL mentally.

there is no comparison, Smith may be the first pick in the draft, that is huge, not to mention what it did to the team mentally

Hats off to Utah. They were clearly the better team tonight.

It is amazing what these caged dogs are doing in the bowl games. The "motivation" angle has proved to be a very significant angle this bowl season. I'm thinking it is that important because the talent disparity between conferences now is diminishing. In the past, teams have come in with a "motivation" angle but have not been able to exact it on the field. The caged dogs are proving to be a bit less talented but talented enough to exact a positive result on the field.

I think tonight proves that there is a lot of parity in college football. Congratulations to Utah. Some of those posters they were showing by fans at the end of the game on FOX are pretty good, ie "Isn't undefeated enough?", etc.....
