Favre did single handedly destroy the Jets with tons of INT's in critical spots
The guy was right on

Indeed the guy was right
When I went to the Jets game I noticed that Favre wouldnt even do stretches with the team. He stood out in front like a captain but did different stretches or none at all while the rest of the team did them together.

Don't forget Favre can do no wrong. If you listen to a game that Favre qb's and listen to the commentators you wonder if they are watching Brett play 7 on 7 at a high school in Mississippi because he plays horrible and everything wrong is everyone else's fault. The defense was great, the receiver ran the wrong route, brett thought that there were 12 men on the field, you name it the excuse is in play. Just sickening.

Sorry, agree with the other posters in here -- the other Jets had it dead on. If the guy weren't a legend, he would have been benched, and he deserved to be regardless. Come on, how many killer pics at crucial times???
And what incredible sweet justice when Pennington comes in there and knocks them out! If they just KEEP PENNINGTON, they probably win that division!!!!!

Who is the anonymous Jet player your talking about? Thomas Jones did a radio interview and called him out about multiple picks and that he should have been benched.

Favre was one of the best but could not quit. Should have stayed retired the 1st time.

Coming from a big Jets fan, Favre was throwing balls that would have gotten anyone else benched. I mean to throw that many picks and like 1 touchdown in the final games is pathetic. This guy should retire and quit putting teams thru this bullshit.

How can he come back now?
Would he dare with all his teammates talking sHit about him?
I think they are doing this to make sure he wont come back!

I know he signed a 2 year deal and there was an opt out, who had the opt out, Jets or Brett?

Farve has been terrible recently in big games. He gets praised for being a gunslinger, but his INT and his stubborness to always throw the ball into coverage has hurt his team. He cost the Packers a chance to go to the Super Bowl against Giants last year by just chucking the ball down field instead of taking what the defense was giving him. The media loves to sing his praise, but I much rather have a QB that plays within himself instead of trying to make himself the hero.

There's two years left on the contract. Jets can cut him or Brett can retire.

If I were sending a message to an NFL player I doubt I'd use a gambling forum.
