Hello all. I consider what Bettrojan did to me as blatant theft. The basic descripton of the story is that I was apparently warned around December 25th or 26th that I was "playing moves and if I continued my deposit would be returned to me." On December 27th, I was attempting to place a wager but could not because my account balance was $0. I looked at my account history and saw that my original deposit amout had been withdrawn back to me and, to my complete surprise, I noticed a deduction of $4,311.88 with the description: "ZERO OUT, PLAYED MOVES AND WAS WARNED HE WOULD RECEIVE HIS DEPOSIT AMOUNT AND CLOSED ACCOUNT." At the time, I was with them for only about a week and up a little more than $4,300. I never did see this warning. I received no e-mail or phone call, and my account was not locked pending my understanding. I was told that the warning was posted to my account, but I have no way of really knowing as my account is now locked. I do admit that if the message is displayed only when logging in, I simply did not see it because I use an add-on for Firefox that prevents the automatic log-out that many sportsbooks have, and I did not close the window for about 2 days. I don't think anyone would continue to play at the risk of losing $4,300 without inquiring about the warning.
Regardless, I think the warning is a moot point. I think it would be acceptable if the sportsbook considered all wagers AFTER the warning no action. However, to go back and take all winnings from the account that were earned prior to the warning is theft.
Am I wrong here? Or am I right in thinking I am being cheated? Would my deposit have been returned had my bets lost?
