I know we've seen a lot of these lately...but i am here to say i am making my very last post on the board. I don't know what the hell happened in the last month, specifically since Ball St lost on Friday December 5th, but i've been beaten and bloodied beyond belief and had to be bailed out by my family for the last time. its happened before over the years and now its happened again and one result is i need to now get a 2nd job. How the hell i still have a family if one of the great mysteries, i've put them through hell with my gambling and today it stops, or i die, one of the two.

Guys, i'm not telling ANYONE what to do, what i am saying is be smart and carefull, we are all a few bad weeks away from cashing in our chips for the last time. I certainly didn't see it coming, just a month ago i hit a monster play on Northwestern in college football. But thats long gone and then some.

If anyway wants to rip me, so be it, i hold no ill will, even towards an obvious novice as Venditto.

So to JJ Gold, Richie, Nicky Santoro, and all the rest of you i can't remember right now. Take care, its been fun, but all good things must come to an end.

i'm so sorry to hear this buddy.. you're a good guy, and i really feel bad.. brocker, this might be a blessing in disguise. believe me, in the long run, you will be the big winner, not these gamblers. this is probably the best thing that could have happened to you.. it's a really tough game to beat for your everyday gambler. don't worry about it, you'll be back on your feet in no time, i am sure, but try not to watch sports and occupy your mind another way, cause you will get tempted.

you're one of the good ones here and i am sure the good Lord will bless you with a happy life.. at least you have a family that loves you.. and when you do bounce back, which i am sure, do NOT come back and bet again, cause you will end up back there again....

What kind of numbers are we talking about here? A few grand or a few hundred? It's all relative, some guys bet 3 or 4 dimes a game like it's nothing and others more like 3 or 4 hundred..

I have gambled for 30 + years and it took way too many beatings to learn.

I just play for fun now and it is more enjoyable , never chase and seldom ever vary bets.

Guys it is almost impossible to make a living at this and only a few do , too many lives can be ruined if you get carried away.

I had a friend that lost too much and robbed banks and his life was over. Take care guys and bet within reason.

A gambling addiction ranks up there with drugs and alcohol addictions.. it's very brutal.. alof of people kill themselves from losing the house and they cant face their family, so they take the easy way out. Unless you are a pro at this, and that is that you only play computer plays, you beat closing #'s consistently, then you have 0 chance.. that's right, zero chance.

unless you fall into this category, each poster here will end up in brocker's position one day, it's only a matter of time, but it will come... maybe this can be a lesson for the avg sbr poster here to get out fast, or lower your bets.. this is a big wake up call for everyone here.

Been there Brock and it ain't pretty. My downfall took me years to recover from. My words of advice are: work hard, pay off your debts through the money you make, love your family and stay away from gambling. It sounds like you have the compulsive/addictive bug that may someday translate into the ultimate disaster. My guess is it's going to take while to get back to ground level. Remember how hard it is to climb out and use that as energy to stay away. GL!

for a while, it could be worse.much worse believe me im living it with no bailout 200k in the hole livivgn on the lame.

brock im out there hustling to get my life back im living in a nightmare due to gambling,highway motels and loneliness and a tv with 6 channels and an indian head is now my life.



bailouts are usually bad unless you learn from them, ive had 87 bailouts in my lifetime and never learned, now im in my own prison,and family is gonsky.

so in a way your lucky as you havent yeat reached the really ugly stages of degenerate gambling which involves
forced exit from your hometown,doing illegal things to get cash,and a good posibility of prison or suicide.
