No they're not. Cockroaches have existed for millions of years and they have the ability to withstand a nuclear attack.

The likes of RichCoastSports, PlayTheScore, BetonStars didn't survive for 12 months and couldn't even manage to withstand a single football season.

I dont think one will ever know the correct answer to this question.

Its just a shame that there are a crap load of shietty books out there that boost the number through the roof.

Lets just hope most will do their research on books before depositing money into them.

This is exactly my point. You can kill a single roach just by stepping on it (sometimes), but there will be 5 new ones in its place the next day.

Depends on what you define as a book. If you filter out the ones that are just skins, or domain names put together with some money to a web designer to clone and tweak a big name site, I'd guess there are less than 200 online books aimed at the US market.

So you count BOS as one book, not 19 ?

Like Bookie mentioned, there are much fewer operations than there are actual sites.

Bill or John

Is it so that SBR does not rate the books that are not accepting US customers? Or does the book have to accept you rating them or is there some other logic why some of the operations are not rated?

Here are a few examples:
www.bet24.com - They are not new and they seem to be advertising even here in Finland (Where it is illegal to advertise).

www.24hpoker.com
www.redbet.com - exchange

Next four are propably new ventures
www.betsafe.com
www.betway.com
www.3bwin.com
www.jaxx.com

That does seem right if one counts BOS as 19, and so on. 5team parlay says he has used about 300. I can also see the number 200 if one counts by family.

It's a moving target. Like trying to count the number of mosquitos in a 10-mile radius.

This is a very interesting topic. Maybe, one you guys can explain something to me. Why do some books have multiple sites (ex. VIP group, BetWWTS group)?
