Anyone else get an email from a company called Vantis out of the UK regarding your account at BetonSports? They have been requesting that I register a claim with them regarding my account at BoS. Will this company actually resolve anything and get outstanding accounts payed? Is it a phishing scam? What's the deal? Any insight is appreciated.

There's a company that's handling this. I believe it's legit, but you probably won't get much of your balance.

I received it. 4 copies. I guess I must have had accounts with 4 different BOS family books. I had no funds in any of them at the time of the collapse but maybe they are sending them to every single account regardless.

I've received a few batches of e-mails like that since it happened. I know people who got STIFFed and then got bailouts from CRIS who are getting these e-mails.

My impression is it is not a phishing scam. There is something behind it but what exactly, I could not say.

Certainly, I would not recommend getting your hopes up even a tiny bit.

These letters and reassurances have been going around for a long time from different companies. My guess is it benefits someone legally to have the figures and/or show an effort to do something with information. To our knowledge, employees have not received their wages which was supposed to be ahead on the priority list.
