Great idea for a thread, Mudcat.

Well I'll jump in and it isn't going to be pretty. I am trying to decide between A and A+. I know that humility is a virtue but on this particular topic, no dice. I am really proud of the business I have built.

On further thought, I can't go A+. I'm a little too lazy at times. I use several different money-making strategies - which I consider a big plus - however a couple of them aren't as developed as they could and should be by now.

A

I am an F but I know people that are reliable A's, or F's depending on how you look at it. So in the end I am an A.

To be the perfect gambler, a person would have to be perfect. In a Zen master kind of way.

According to those in the know, my winning record is impressive (last season 65% in NFL 7 picks a week, monitored, this year 60% basketball recorded at wagerline). But I'm not even close to where I want to be. So I'm A compared to when I began, but F compared to where I will be.

The perfect gambler is he who slowly turns 100 into a million, then puts it all on 36. And walks away.

And people told us in school to stay away from the F students. What little they know

Sports betting: B- because I'm mostly even.

Horse betting: D- because with all the longshot winners I've nailed over the years, my biggest winning race was $1,000. I never play enough trifectas, exacta boxes or doubles and Pick 3s. My betting system has always been pretty bad.

i have work to do on my disipline, i often get carried away when am in a hot streak instead of taking a couple of days rest. i tend to make a play i dont feel strong about. It's like giving away 1star play instead of a strong 5 star play. luck has been on my side thus far this year. Wont forget the june 14 game when dunn hit a 3run shot in the 11th to give my RL win. A baseball game is really not over till the fat lady sings. I believe this i believe this. Overall ill give myself a D+. Am still a rookie at this, been making money with mlb last two years but i still need more experience to reach the top.

Bettor - B

Capper - D

I do better betting sports when I don't even understand the rules of the game I am wagering on. Once I think I know a sport inside out is when I am in serious trouble.

I'd rate myself an "A-"

I mainly use alot of locals, and they use the dime line and not the reduced vig. so, that would be the reason for why gave myself that grade.
