mark cuban appears to be serious about buying the Pittsburgh Penguins.
I think this is just what the NHL needs to boost there sport. this guy will bring the fans back, because of all his antics if nothing else.

Cuban would add a spark that the NHL desperately needs. I hope he goes through with it.

I have to vote :thumbs_do on this one.
I think he would be great for the NHL and anyone in a position to help him get a team would be a fool not to.
I am probably very rare in my position. What bothers me about Cuban was his ongoing objections to letting Mavericks players play in intenational tournaments. He did nothing but put up roadblocks. I understand why he feels that way and don't particularly hold it against him.
However not only do I like international hockey tournaments, they are much more important to me as a fan than the NHL. I don't want people who are going to get in the way of that.

Is Dan Marino investing with him on this venture, or is he a part of another group trying to buy the Penguins?

If he does buy the Penguins, would he possibly move them to KC. Most people seem to think this team is a leading canidate to move to KC to move into the soon to be completed Sprint Center.

if cuban does buy this team. just think of what the possabilites are....
the Penguins have a ton of young talent right now. think about combining that young talent with all that vertern leadership he would bring in to play on that team, because you know he's gonna max out the new salary cap they have in place. some city would sure be getting a nice suprise to say the least.
