    Exclamation World Cup Italy... just barely

    For those of you who thought Italy was going to just breeze through the round of 16 against Australia.
    Think again!!
    It took 92 minutes and a very questinable (at best) referee call giving them a PK to beat the tough Aussies.
    But finally, the Italians go through.
    They will face the winner of this afternoons Switzerland/Ukraine match. Probably will be another tough one.
    Tough luck for Hiddink and his Socceroos!!

    I think so, it wont be easy though but ever since France failed to win its group everyone knew that had been a tough brake for Spain and a very nice one for Italy.
    I do expect Italy to make it to semis.
    There they will face Argentina or Germany which I think are both better teams.
    If I had to bet on the Italy-Ukraine game though I would take the "to advance" wager. Italy is not known for covering many spreads.
