    Default betshop.com

    Hi all,

Has anyone dealt with betshop.com before? Any good/bad experiences? Was about to deposit into my account but thought I should check here first...

    cheers

They look to be a European chain of betting shops and running an online shop under British regulation.

    More information about them here:

However, there are probably 200+ better books to stick your money in.

Oh, and welcome to the forum.

I'm afraid I haven't used them and have nothing substantial to add to the sensible responses already given.

Just wanted to say welcome to the forum, blinf.

    Thanks for the welcome guys..

I realise there are far more reliable bookies out there, but in some instances the odds on betshop are far greater than anywhere else, which is why i'm particularly interested..

So while they are not the safest option, has anyone got specific examples of it being at all dodgy? Obviously i dont want to risk my money if it is unreliable, as i generally bet in large amounts..

    cheers again

Reading the article, it does seem that they're a pretty solid company (assuming that all that was written about them is true, of course!) but since this board largely deals with US punters, I don't think that there will be many that have played with this company.

However, there are a few Europeans here and maybe some people can advise about their presence in Europe - the report says that have 620 shops in italy as well as presence in Germany, Romania and Cyprus.

You will not find that they run off with your money. But there is a withdrawal fee for amounts under £1500 and their maximum bet is only £100.
If you can live with that you will find that they are amongst the fastest to pay out...And although only a D rating this may change now that they have been taken over by the holding company that owns VIPSports.
