Default How do u North Easterners drive in a foot of snow?

Woke up and theres a foot of snow and still snowing...

Have an SUV but not 4WD. Would chains work?

I hope my chihuahuas dont drown in the snow.

If snow is a common problem just invest in a pair of studded snows. Chains are unnecessary IMO...

I used to love tossing my cats into a foot of fresh powder, watch them disappear hahah.

Only snows like 3-5 days a year..... but this is the most snow i have ever seen.

One time i tried to drive in it i had to abandon ship and walk for a mile.

I use chains usually or just get a guy to drive me around in an 18 wheeler. I usually just duke him like $40, nothing like pulling up in front of Dunkin Donuts and taking every spot up and going in and getting coffee.

couldnt do that in east stlouis. They would carjack the 18 wheeler for the cargo. 18 wheelers stay out of east stlouis unless theyre empty.

Who buys an SUV without 4WD? That just doesn't sound intelligent to me.

Right, full speed in one foot of snow, half speed in two feet of snow.

Driving in snow is an acquired skill, I only get a chance to drive in the snow immediately following a snowstorm, the plows get it cleared fairly fast around here.
