No, Hansborough will be a good role player for a team and be a good player off the bench to provide energy and hustle. Doesn't have near the talent Laettner had, remember Laettner was the #3 overall pick and was pretty good.

According to this Laettner made $61 million in his career. Hansbrough will get $3.2 million in the first two years, with team options for years 3 and 4. In that sense, I don't see him ever comparing to Laettner. Love UNC so I hate to say that. But with the way he throws his body around it's going to be tough to last as long as Laettner. He's at least contributing for Indiana so far though.

It won't take much to be less of a punk than Laettner. Leattner was an all time great college player, and a bitch at the pro level. I'll take Hansborough in this generation of athletic grace and power versus Leattner not wanting to mix it up with anybody, de up anybody, and shooting that punk ass jumper all the time.
