    Heat in six.

Great job Miami. No one wanted the BillyGoat to be the poster child for the NBA for the next 5 months.

Huge props to the Heat in this game. Can't believe how huge their role players (Walker, Haslem, Posey) performed out there, on the road in a hostile environment. Thought they got gifted game 5, but they earned it tonight on the court.

Nice call looker. I kinda wanted them to win, but my numbers had Dallas in six. My numbers were way off.

When the poll was done, 12 people had picked the Miami Heat to win in 6 games and the majority picked the Heat over the Mavs even though the Mavs were favored. Looks like SBR has some talent!

Talking serious for a minute, the contrast in play down the stretch by both clubs were so extreme. I can't believe Dallas got so passive, settling for jump shots when they were in the bonus with 7 or 8 minutes left in that 4Q.

Nice call looker. I had a future on the Heat at 35/1.

Riley did an unbelievable job lifting the team to a level where the whole was more than the sum of the individual parts. Dallas never clicked like that. Tonight it was obvious that the series had separated the boys from the men, sometime in Miami, and that there was no way back. Easy to say with 20/20 vision. I didn't think that Miami would pull this off, but I'm happy for them. They really did show the heart of a champion. Hope to see them in the finals again next year, against the Suns with Amare...

As much as I dislike Dallas, part of me was rooting for Cuban and Avery Johnson. But more than anything right now, I'm just glad that the NBA season is over. Except for the occasional news of a player getting caught with a gun and drug paraphenalia in his car, I won't have to hear about pro basketball for a few months.

Unreal. Certainly had worse beats, but always sucks to lose the last bet on the season like this. Dallas Series down the drain.

    Thumbs down

The refs gifted the Heat the title right here.

    0:42
[DAL 90-91] Howard Jump Shot: Made (12 PTS)
    Assist: Nowitzki (2 AST)
0:26 Nowitzki Foul: Personal (5 PF)
    Wade Free Throw 1 of 2 (33 PTS) 0:26
    [MIA 92-90]
    Wade Free Throw 2 of 2 (34 PTS) 0:26
    [MIA 93-90]

This was as an obvious offensive foul by Wade as you can find.

I'm surprised that play didn't get much attention after the fact. How was that a foul on Nowitski? Perfecting ending to a joke of a series.

I don't think Dallas will recover from this and ever get back to the finals with this group. I feel bad for their fans. How can they watch games next season after this?

With Phoenix healthy next year and San Antonio their usual self, Dallas will only be 3rd or 4th best in the west.

I just hope some team in the east can knock Miami out next season.

The Mavs was the 4 seed this season to but they
made it all the way to the finals still. The referes
werent to consisten t in the playoffs and seemed
to be for the Heat after game 2. But you have
to give Miami some credit for there win after
behind 0-2. I think Cuban and Avary Johnson will
get the team back to the West finals again next
year and may be the finals again. The Mavs will
go deeper next year then the Heat I think.

I don't see Maimi repeating simply because you know Shaq will miss 20 games at least and Wade will take a major pounding.

Plus, the supporting cast is just not that good. For people to be praising Antonie Walker in this title chase is absurd. They say "Walker had 14 points and 11 rebounds." The guy shot 6 for 17 from the floor and 0-6 from 3-point range. The Heat won despite Walker. He sucks.

i agree with you 100%. i don't see the heat repeating at all either.

shaq will be one year older, and alot of the rest of the current players like zo, and payton wont probly be back next year.

Plus, add in Walker and Jason Williams will be making double the salary Wade is making next season. Not sure if Wade can renegotiate his deal or if he's stuck but he's only making $3 million next year.

The west will be loaded again and you know the Pistons will reload again, so I do not think Miami will repeat either.
