I was wondering about that. I think I'm going to be a hockey fan again and am going to make a concerted effort to watch because of the rule changes.

On that note, does anyone think the rule changes will now require one to revamp his capping, i.e. any strategies you developed pre-2005 will no longer be in play? I imagine scoring is going to jump up considerably...but I could be wrong!

Scoring will go way up. I'm not sure how bets will be graded. After the 5 minute overtime they now go to a shoot out. Who knows how the bets are going to be graded now. Will there be bets in just regulation like some soccer bets and/or will they include the shoot outs?

Sorry I'm not much of a hockey fan but how will the shoot out goals count? So will every goal made count towards the total score for a team? We could end up seeing scores like 10-9. Talk about messing up the totals... lol

Shootout goals will not count. I think maybe there just going to add the goal to whoever wins or make bets official before shootouts
