Default Whats the best pre- season NCAA Football betting guide?

    And is it out?

I like to see returning starters and a breakdown of who has been lost and how good the talent is that has moved into a starting role.

I think Fiest or someone put out one pretty decent??

I think Phil Steele works as hard as any in the business. His annual has a lot of depth, and he is a numbers guy. Every player should have that mag on his desk.

I always pick up The Sporting News College Guide and The Gold Sheet's Annual.

End of June, they should be out everywhere.

most of my friends swear by the Steele magazine, although I prefer the sporting news preseason mag...it comes out a little bit later and is pretty comprehensive...I'm not a real big fan of Athlon's mag, as I think they don't do near as good of a job as the other two...

Here's pre-season method that works well:

Look for the opening line to move 1.5 points or more in
either direction, then take the dog on the closing line.

Any reason or particular theory as to why this is the case Dark Horse....seems kind of arbitrary. Do you have favorable numbers that may support this. Thanks...

Sorry. I saw preseason and immediately linked to the NFL. lol
Way to excited about that thought.

    So scratch my comment.
(worked well in NFL last season; we'll see how it does this year).
