My only concern is I think they played not to lose last week and lacked the sense of urgency I felt they should've had versus UVA. The game wasn't as close as the score, they simply mismanaged opportunities in the redzone and had some questionable play-calling.

They get too cute with the 9 QB rotation and mixing it up after one QB takes them all the way down the field. Just leave your young stud starter in there and let the guy win.

I agree ..... the Glennon/Taylor Rotation kills the momentum and the chemistry. Only good thing is if the D on the other team slips up and plays it wrong vs the QB that is in the game.

Virginia Tech just isn't very good. The special teams are still good, but the defense is just average this year, and the offense is below average. The BC quarterback situation is a bit of a wildcard, however.

MD has a great running attack and BC held them to under 50 yds for the entire game. VT's passing game is non-existent with both of their QBs and even if Taylor rushes for 100 yds that just eats the clock and Glennon usually folds under a good pass rush. VT will try to establish the run the entire game, and now they have Boone running the wild turkey formation which again just eats up the clock.

VT's last 4 games a total of 36, 30, 17, and 31 points were scored. BC will rely on it's running attack as the redshirt freshman hasen't seen a D like VT's which scored twice against BC in BC. That takes me to the first time they met.

A total of 51 points were scored in that game but look at the TDs. A INT was the first score, a 65yd punt return was another and then another 55yd INT which all occurred in the first half. The 2nd half was a good sign of what happens when these two play and no big plays like INTS and special team plays occurs. VT won the 2nd half 6-0.

I think the under here is the best play since the winner of the game to me is a coin flip.

I've watched plenty of Boston College football this year, and apart from Davis (the rookie at QB) there's no reason not to take BC here. Their defense has been playing just as good as VaTech's the last 4 games, if not better. Herzlich is a stud. If you don't know who he is, you will by the time the game is over. Another point here, Davis has yet to throw a pick and the offensive coordinator hasn't been babying him. They throw quite a bit considering he was just thrown into the fire after Crane went down. Anyway...it should be a good game. GL everyone!

I'll give you one more reason, probably the one that will cost them the game: Their PK, he is 7-13 on field goals over 30 yards. VTech's is 20-25 overall. In a game where points wil be at a premium, the kicker matchup and the fact that BC has a redshirt freshman in his second game and on his first road start that also happens to be the conference championship against a really good defense.

There are a few trends both SU and ATS that also support V. Tech but since this game will be played on the field then those 2 factors are the most important ones.
