so in real life, like every day life, ppl tell me that i'm interesting and friendly, that i should be in sales becoz i have a nice outgoing personality, then i get to talking about sports and i'm so fukkin serious, i come on this board which i consider the best ive ever seen and i mix it up with everyone, i feel so bad, honestly i do, i say shit i dont mean to ppl, things i would never say in person even if the guy was half my size and posed no threat to me, i would never say these things becoz theyre downright rude and obnoxious, so i wana give a formal apology to anyone i said mean things to, i did not mean it, i just go off like an idiot and i need to get back to the real world until i learn to behave myself, some of you will say "hey hoop we'll see you tomorrow", but i promise you this time i am taking a long break, at least a month or so becoz i need the break to think about some things and God knows you ppl need the break from me. sorry again about my attitude i did not mean it, honestly i did not, i dont know what the fukk my problem is, maybe i need meds like someone on here said, hasta ppl, have a great xmas holiday and a happy new yr, if i come back, it will not be before jan 1st as i think 30 days of time to reflect on life and my attitude towards strangers on a board mite do me some good

I respect this a lot.

This forum is a crazy place. Lots of cool people, but there are some real downright nasty people, too. Its hard sometimes to keep a level head and take the high road.

Most people say nasty and mean-spirited things with either a) no regard for how the person they are gearing their comments towards might be affected, or b) a true intention to hurt the person. It is really low, but internet anonymity seems to fuel this in people.

To realize that you are becoming something you do not like and to actually do something about it takes a lot of balls, and I give you a ton of respect for that. You never did anything to me personally, but I still just wanted to give you props.

Honestly, a month isn't likely to make any difference.

The on-line attitude which has you so conflicted will quickly return. You'll be right back in the same place again saying sh1t and then wondering how/why you could be like that.

I mean, go ahead and try but I just don't see it changing anything. IMO you either need to leave it behind for good, or else accept that whatever this forum is adding to your life is worth the price: a portion of your peace of mind.

To me, it is a necessary evil for what it adds to my business. I don't know what it is for you.

Your opening post showed a lot of thoughtfulness and maturity. I see introspection and self-honesty. Those are important things in life.

What's not important is public internet forums.
