Hmm this is the same Florida who got beat by who again?? Oklahoma is the better team. There is no way Florida will be favored over Oklahoma and if they are you should cash in your life insurance policy and hit the parents up for some early inheritance.

I’m looking at the top 25 and I’m having a hard time finding any good SEC teams outside of Florida and Oklahoma. Maybe Georgia, err no they bite-0la. Can’t find Ole Miss in there. Ditto for Tenn and LSU.

I think if your capping that the Big 12 is light on defense your playing a bad angle. OU's defense is good and so is Texas. These guys are playing outstanding offenses week in and week out.

I assure you even with a month to prepare Florida will not hold OU under 40 like Texas did.

John: You'll get your chance to bet the Big 12 at lines far more SEC tilted than the ones you are posting.

OU would NOT be favored over any of the two SEC teams. They have a horrible ATS in BCS games. Florida would be favored over any team by at least 3 on a neutral field.

Florida is the best team in the country right now and would be favored over anyone.

Florida -5 Oklahoma
Florida -7.5 Texas

I won't bother with the others because Florida won't lose to Alabama.

LT,

Florida hasn't beaten any of the current Top 15 teams in the polls. You are overestimating how good they are because they played noone.

You'll see after this weekend. Florida has played plenty of good teams, they just make them look bad when they beat them by 35 points. If Georgia, Miami, or Florida State hadn't played FLA they would all be much higher in the polls.

You can also argue that Georgia, Miami and Florida State are average teams and Florida looked better than what they are because their opponents are mediocre.

We'll see this weekend when Florida wins by double-digits over a previously unbeaten team.

And I am still holding my Florida +750 to win it all tciket with no plans of hedging this week. The only hedge I would make is Oklahoma ML in Championship Game.

Pavy, ALL of the Gators opponents had bad games on the Saturdays that they played, except Ole Miss. You think that Urban and his band of very fast men may have had something to do it?

The game will be much closer than you guys think. Saban has a sleeve of tricks for Meir. I see a very close game. Florida is not the same team when they play on the road. The game is also at an indoor stadium which makes their speed irrelevant.

Are they going to collect their shoes at the gate and put nails on the field, or cut their feet off before they enter the stadium?

Don't give away away your money LT. This is a powerhouse. OU can score, yes, but you saw what happened vs Texas when they actully played a fast defense. Florida rolls.

Lol irrelevant? The indoor stadium just makes their team faster and they won't have to worry about slipping on a cut out on the grass. Saban doesn't have shit up his sleeve. All he can do is pray in this situation that Tebow gets hurt and the Gators have 3 or 4 turnovers.

If Texas sneaks in the champ game, I will take them ML for the max. They are tougher then everyone thinks

Still a lot of ball to play. Fl and OU may be playing as the 8th and 10th rated team if they both lose.

I've reconsidered my FL/OU line and I'm making a line change...hey its forumville I can do that! I like OU -3. I agree OU's defense is suspect and Florida's is not and I certainly agree you win championships with defense. Still, OU can hold serve and thats the problem. Texas caught them playing a bad 2nd half of football. They would beat Texas if they played now.

One thing is for sure; take the over if they do end up playing each other. The books wont be able to set that number high enough.

John-

Florida is currently a 9.5pt favorite over Alabama on a neutral field.

Explain your thinking based on that number.
